Rested, and with Fred's Dad's generator, we are coming home on Highway 14. Not long after the storm passed, Lake Charles was closed. Most of the roads into town are blocked by the police and the National Guard. We take this way into town to avoid the checkpoints so that we can get into town. The devastation isn't limited to Lake Charles or its roadways. Here are some images of Highway 14, ending up on McNeese Street in Lake Charles.
